About the Event
The Newport Rising was the last large-scale armed rebellion against authority in Great Britain. To mark the 180th anniversary of the Uprising the Parliamentary Archives and Gwent Archives are pleased to invite you to a panel discussion about the events of the day, the aftermath and the legacy it has left behind.
